So I could write some personal stuff here, but that is just boring. Instead of that I am just going to annouce the Flatland Magazine Cover Photo contest.

The next issue after this one is set to drop in November. The contest runs from August 15 - October 1st. That gives you nearly two months to submit your best flatland skimboarding photo. To enter the contest post your photo on the Flatland Magazine Facebook page.

After the cutoff date there will be a round of voting by fans and then a final selection by myself and a panel of judges.

The winner gets their photo as the cover of the November issue of Flatland Magazine, a physical print of their photo as the cover and a $100 gift certifcate to DB Skimboards.

Rules: Photos must be sized at 580 pixels by 580 pixels to match the dimesions of the magazine. The photos must have been captued during the 2012 skim season. Start shooting!
